PROMOTION OF INCUBATION ACTIVITIES AT JB GROUP OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Director-in-charge, Dr. E Vidya sagar has participated and promoted the Incubation activities accelerator program at JB group of institutions, Hyderabad along with Sri JV Krishna Rao. In this program, CEOs of 27 companies have shared their knowledge on promotion of Incubation and Entrepreneurship activities with the participants.
Visit of Osmania university Energy Center team to OTBI

A Team of 6 People from Osmania University Energy center has visited OTBI and donated few books to OTBI library. They also shown keen interest to work along with OTBI for sponsored for funding agencies to get grants. Dr.Surendar Reddy Advisor of energy center offered himself to provided any advisory services as per the requirement.
AWARD OF MSME PROJECT for Rs. 15 Lakhs

MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0 (Women) under the Incubation component of MSME Innovative Scheme GOI assistance, the idea/proposals submitted by OTBI, one project is approved. This approval came after invitation of the proposals, formulation of an expert committee, evaluation through the presentations of the candidates etc. MSME has selected one proposal on “Personolized bone grafts by 3D printing of novel natural fiber-reinforced composite for craniomaxillofacial reconstruction”.
MEETING WITH VICE CHANCELLORS OF CMR, ICFAI, HYDERABAD

Meeting with CMR University, Bengaluru Vice Chancellor Pof. Raghavendra Rao and VC of ICFAI University, Hyderabad, Dr. L.S. Ganesh during Vice chancellors conference held at Hyderabad and shared all the activities of OTBI, Osmania University
Visit of cyber security Head to OTBI

Visit by the Osmania University Senior professor, and Dr. LK Suresh Kumar and Prof. Shyamala, HOD of Cyber security and IT Department, OUUCE have visited OTBI to discuss on the modalities of preparation of a Mega project related to Cyber Security to be submitted to MEITY, Govt. of India. One mega project on Cyber security has been submitted by UCE and OTBI for possible funding after discussions and deliberations on the outcome of the project.
Apex SDG training program to students

M/s Apex SDG company, of Mr. Sudheer Kumar, incubated at OTBI has organized a training program to the 25 students from different colleges along with OTBI on all aspects of Sustainable Development Goals. Dr. E.Vidyasagar, Director-in-charge, OTBI has shared the various Entrepreneur activities of OTBI with the students. Sri Sudheer Kumar, CEO of the company has explained the various opportunities available to the students under different Government Schemes. Prof. Harinarayana, Advisor shared the importance of skill development for possible selection by a company
All the students are given participation certificates by the company and suggested to utilize their summer time for skill development and advanced training that are beneficial to them and also fulfulls the 17 susstainable development goals.
MAHAVEER INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS VISIT


Mahaveer Institute of Science & Technology (MIST) organized a field visit to the Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI). The event aimed to introduce students to “New Industry Trends” was conducted by Dr. T.Harinarayana, Advisor, OTBI, Osmania University. The event was a collaboration between MIST’s Institution’s Innovation Council and Industry Institute Interaction Cell, along with Knowledge Partners.
MALLA REDDY COLLEGE ENGINEERING STUDENTS VISIT


The seminar by OTBI and Malla Reddy College of Engineering focused on R&D facilities and the OTBI Incubation Unit infrastructure. It brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and industry experts. Prof. E Vidyasagar, Director-in-charge has addressed the students and shared OTBI activities and opportunities available to the students.
The seminar included two main sessions. The first session, led by Dr. T. Harinarayana, discussed new trends in the industry and the need to adapt to changes. The second session, presented by Sri Sudheer Kumar, offered practical tips for starting a business, such as checking if business ideas are good, making business plans, finding funding, and entering the market. His engaging style encouraged participants to think about their business dreams.
RAYS HIGH (CLOUD & CYBERSECURITY EXPO) AND OTBI CONFERENCE


The RAYS HIGH Cloud & Cybersecurity Expo and OTBI Conference brought together industry experts to discuss the latest trends and challenges in cloud technology and cybersecurity. Keynote speeches highlighted the importance of robust security measures in cloud environments. Panel discussions covered the future of cloud tech, strategies for mitigating cyber threats, and the role of AI in cybersecurity. Workshops provided practical training on implementing cloud security best practices. The event also featured an exhibition showcasing innovative solutions and facilitated networking opportunities for attendees. Overall, the conference aimed to drive innovation and enhance security practices across industries.

TRAINING PROGRAMME ON SKILL DEVELOPMENT on ES-IOT & VLSI TO INTERN STUDENTS


Skill development programme was organized by M/s A Sapna Pvt. Ltd. (incubated at OTBI) in association with Osmania Technology Business Incubator, Osmania University. This two-week program was participated by intern students in both online and off-line mode. Eleven batches are formed and trained the students through online mode. Eleven students were given everyday training through off-line mode. The training has provided the internship in the Embedded system domain and internet of things (ES-IOT). The participants are divided into two categories, theory and programming. Theory class is focused on embedded systems and its relation to Internet of things.
FM Radio Promotion of Osmania University's Incubation Centre

The FM radio segment aimed to raise awareness about the incubation center’s role in supporting startups and nurturing innovative ideas. The promotion emphasized the resources available at the center, including mentorship, funding opportunities, and collaborative workspaces. An MOA has signed between M/s Envisionards Ads and Marketing Pvt. Ltd by the Director-in- charge, Dr. E Vidyasagar at the Department of Electrical Engineering, UCE, Osmania University. The company has incubated at OTBI and taken 4 seats for their commercial business.
CMR Engineering College students visit to OTBI


On 29th January 2025, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC 7.0) of CMR Engineering College (UGC Autonomous) organized an industrial field visit to the Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI) at Osmania University, Hyderabad. The visit was aimed at providing students with real-time exposure to research, innovation, and startup incubation environments. The program began with a warm welcome and registration, followed by a detailed tour of the Central Facilities for Research & Development (CFRD), where students explored various state-of-the-art research labs and technologies. Later, they visited the OTBI facilities and learned about the incubation support provided to budding entrepreneurs. A tea break was followed by an interactive session and presentation by distinguished faculty members Prof. E. Vidyasagar and Dr. T. Harinarayana, who shared valuable insights on innovation practices, startup ecosystems, and the role of technology in entrepreneurship. The visit concluded with a group photo near the entrance gate. This field visit proved to be an enriching experience, inspiring students to explore opportunities in innovation and entrepreneurship while bridging the gap between academia and industry.

KMICS college students visit to OTBI

A total of about 50 students have visited OTBI, Hyderabad and interacted with startup companies and others. They have also visited both CFRD facilities and IT & Data centre facilities. Students are provided with information regarding startup company activities of OTBI. Students and the faculty have shown great interest on the subject of digitalization.
MOA Signed between M/s Sassymonks Pvt. Ltd

Sassymonks Pvt. Ltd established in the year 2022. They offer a propriety software product, Fleeto Order, designed to simplify billing for the F&B and retail industries. They have signed MOA with OTBI and has taken 4 seats for their commercial operation and incubated with OTBI. The COA of the company is Mr. Harsha Vardhan Varma.
2-day Workshop and training programme organized by OTBI at Kesav memorial college, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad

On the request received from Principal of the college, 2 day workshop cum training has been organized. In this program, importance of Digital India and other skills to be practiced by the students are explained. A total of 114 students have registered for this program. All the students are given an option to choose one village in the state of Telangana. Tutorials are provided with practicals on the Desktop on digitalization of the various locations within and surrounding the village chosen by the student. All the students have successfully completed 114 reports within a week and submitted to OTBI. An MOU has also signed between the college and the OTBI, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
BYST Mentoring India programme BYST mentoring programme has been organized by BYST along with HDFC Bank – Parivartan

A mega event on Mentoring was organized at Yatri Nivas, Hyderabad meeting hall. On the inviation, Director-in-charge, Dr. E.Vidyasagar has addressed the gathering and shared on the importance of incubators in our country to promote entrepreneurship activities. Visit of Dr. Gopalakrishna, Senior Alumni of OU to OTBI

Dr. Goplakrishna, Entrepreneur and philosopher, Alumni of Department of Electrical Engineering, Osmania University has visited OTBI along with Dr. E.Vidyasagar, Director-in- charge, OTBI and interacted with the KMIC Intern students on 7th March, 2025 at OTBI meeting room. He gave several tips to the students on education, research and entrepreneurship and suggested to utilize their time more effectively to increase the skills.
New company – Farmer Port incubated at OTBI, OU, Hyderabad

Farmer port, OU Alumni (Dept. of Geography), Hyderabad has shown interest to start a company during his student days. After completion of his studies, he continued his interest and registered a company. He was given guidance on many aspects on the basic requirement of a start up company. MOA documents are signed with the company by Dr. E.Vidyasagar, Director- in-charge, OTBI and Mr. Rambabu, the CEO of the company in the presence of Dr. Gopalakrishna, Alumni of OU, UCE
Internship Program by OTBI-2025 Duration of the Internship: One month (Mar-Apr, 2025)

Interns of KVRR College for Woman have joined OTBI under different incubated startup companies. On the request received from Principal of the college, 15 Intern students are being trained by OTBI incubated companies mainly on office management, financial management, day to day activities in the office, Sales and Digital marketing etc. topics. The students are studying 2nd and 3rd year B.Sc and B.Com with computer knowledge.

Workshop on Graphics Designing, Motion Graphics, 3D Modelling & Animation



Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI) and Directorate of Information Technology. Electronics and Communication (ITE&C), Osmania University jointly organized a One Day Workshop on Graphics Designing. 3D Modelling and Animation at Central Facilities for Research and Development (CFRD) Building, Osmania University on 19th August 2023. It was delivered by Mr. Srinath Bhupalarao, Founder & CEO, Caerus Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. along with his team members Mr. Sreedhar, Mr. Satyam, Mr. Upendra and Mr. Bharath who have Industry Experience of Augmented Reality and Virtual Re lity (AR/VR) and related digital immersive technology platforms.
Prof. E. Vidya Sagar, Director of OTBI & ITE&C gave the welcome note and highlighted the various generations of emerging technologies. He motivated the student participants who are aspiring to become animators and entrepreneurs in this field during the inaugural function. There was overwhelming response from the youngsters who were keen to learn such new technologies integrating it with Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technology, etc. He thanked Prof. D. Ravinder, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Prof. P. Laxminarayana, Registrar for their always support and encouragement.
During the workshop the resource persons gave live demonstration of various tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, AutoDesk Maya, Unity Game Engine, etc. This will be followed by 3 months to 6 months course work where students will get chance to work on the unused movie clips from production houses. Around 100 students from campus & affiliated colleges of Osmania University participated in this workshop. Dr. R. Hafeez Basha, CEO- OTBI proposed the official vote of thanks and also showcased the infrastructure and facilities of OTBI as well as the 16+ start-ups that are incubated at OTBI.
Awareness Workshop on Startups for HEIs



Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI) organized an Awareness Workshop on Startups for Higher Educational Institutions on 21st June 2023 at eClass Room, 1st Floor, Central Facilities for Research and Development (CFRD), Osmania University. Shri. Srinivas Taluka, Vice President – Facilities, T-Hub was the resource person which was participated by Academic leaders such as Principals, Faculty Members especially Coordinators of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) / Institute Innovation Council (IIC) / Startups Cells and Students aspiring to launch their startups, from Osmania University campus, constituent and affiliated colleges. They were able to clarify all their doubts and how to overcome challenges of startups at their respective colleges. In continuation to this the office of Registrar on the Advice of Vice Chancellor issued a circular to nominate one faculty member from each college to represent and work closely with Osmania TBI to strengthen the ecosystem.
