CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Startup Support: Manage and mentor portfolio companies, providing guidance on business development, fundraising, and market entry.
- Program Management: Implement and oversee incubation programs, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
- Fund Management: To apply for funding to all possible sources in Govt. schemes and oversea the expenditure. He / She should work towards increasing the revenue for the incubation centre.
- Community Building: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, forge partnerships, and expand the incubator’s network.
- Industry Insights: Conduct research and generate reports on key sectors relevant to incubated startups, providing valuable market intelligence.
- Communication and Outreach: Craft and manage internal and external communication, including media relations and marketing activities.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the incubator by collaborating with various teams (Admin, Marketing, Design, HR).
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts within the organization through workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential:
- 25+ years of working experience in research, incubation, industry, or related institutions.
- Prior experience of administration of running the institute as its head is preferable.
- Prior experience as a startup founder/co-founder or enabler is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of the startup incubation process and challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and manage projects effectively.
- Technical expertise in one or more relevant fields (e.g., Engineering, Technology, Science).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience running multi-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable:
- Prior experience as an Incubation Manager.
- Experience in incubation and mentoring.
- Knowledge of the Indian startup ecosystem and funding landscape.
- Doctoral degree in any subject.
INCUBATION MANAGER
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate a compelling vision and long-term strategic plan for OTBI, ensuring alignment with regional and national innovation goals.
- Fundraising and Financial Management: Lead fundraising efforts to secure grants, investments, and partnerships, ensuring fiscal sustainability and growth.
- Operational Excellence: Build and manage a high-performing team, implement efficient processes, and create a dynamic and innovative organizational culture.
- Startup Ecosystem Development: Forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders (universities, corporations, investors, government agencies) to strengthen the overall tech ecosystem in Telangana.
- Marketing and Outreach: Build and manage OTBI’s brand reputation, raise awareness, and attract high-quality startups to join the incubator program. Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to portfolio companies, connecting them with resources, expertise, and networks.
- Public Advocacy: Represent OTBI and champion the cause of tech entrepreneurship at local, national, and international levels.
- He should work directly under Chief Executive Officer on smooth functioning of the Incubation Centre.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential:

Proven track record of success in leadership and executive management roles, ideally within the tech or innovation sector for at least two years.

Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and venture capital landscape, with extensive experience in fundraising or VC operations.
